This is the most destructive species in Australia and is present over the entire Australian mainland. They are capable of causing large amounts of damage in a short period of time, and are most commonly found near bushland.

Heterotermes ferox
The smaller species with a surprisingly big appetite. Although most infestations result in minimal damage, repairs can be quite expensive when these little critters are left too long.
